My MX-1 does not show up under My Computer when connected to my Windows PC.

This can be caused by a number of things: the MX-1 is not connected properly (I.e... Power is not connected, or USB/eSATA is not connected) your hard drive is not formatted and partitioned the MX-1 is defective.
