
"These rules are for the Antec Comic-Con Contest, hereafter referred to as the “Contest,” which will be run by Antec, Inc., hereafter referred to as the “Sponsor”.
To enter, create an original comic consisting of a maximum of eight (8) panels that incorporates Antec or Antec products. Entries submitted electronically must be in high resolution PDF or TIF format. Entries made by hand must be submitted on a sheet of 8.5” x 11” paper to employees of Antec, Inc. at the Sponsor booth inside the Exhibit Hall, during the first four days of Comic-Con: July 22 between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m., July 23 between 9:30 a.m. and 7 p.m., July 24 between 9:30 a.m. and 7 p.m., and July 25 between 9:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. Electronic submissions will be accepted during the Contest Period, lasting from June 29 2009 12:01 PDT until July 25 2009, 11:59PM PDT. Winners will be announced at the Sponsor booth at Comic-Con on July 26, 2009. Entrants must be present to win.
One entry per person. Open to legal residents of the United States age 18 or over. Void where prohibited. Not available for employees, agents, immediate family members or representatives of Antec, Inc. or any of its parents, subsidiaries or affiliates. Entries that are lost, late, or incompletely received will not be eligible. Antec, Inc., in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of the Web site, or otherwise in violation of the rules. Antec, Inc. further reserves the right to cancel, terminate, or modify the Comic-Con Contest if not capable of being completed as planned.
Entrants represent and warrant that their Submission is their original work, has not been copied from others, and does not violate the rights of any other person or entry. All entry materials become the property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. The copyright in any submission shall remain the property of the entrant, but entry in this Contest constitutes entrant's irrevocable, perpetual permission and consent, without further compensation or attribution, to use the Submission and the entrant's name and city and state for editorial, advertising, commercial and publicity purposes by the Sponsor and/or others authorized by the Sponsor in any and all media now in existence or hereinafter created, throughout the world, for the duration of the copyright in the Submission. Sponsor and/or others authorized by the Sponsor shall have the right to edit, adapt and modify the Submission. Each entrant releases and discharges the Sponsor, any party associated with the development or administration of the Contest, their employees, agents or representatives or any of their parents, subsidiaries, sister companies, or affiliates, from any and all liability in connection with the Contest, including without limitation, legal claims, costs, losses or damages, demand or actions of any kind.
The winner of the contest will be selected by members of the marketing staff at Antec, Inc., at their sole discretion.
There will be one (1) grand prize of a custom Nine Hundred Two case, valued at $159.95, that will be transferred to the Contest winner after the announcement of the winner at the Comic-Con show on July 26, 2009. The Contest winner must be present at the announcement to win. The prize is nontransferable. No substitutions for the prize except by the Sponsor, in which case prize(s) of equal or greater value may be substituted."
